Congratulations to Downtown Raleigh’s own resident mezcaleria, Gallo Pelon, for landing on Liquor.com’s widely-distributed website in it latest “8 New Cocktails to Drink in Bars Now” article, July edition. [Check it out here!]
The bar’s “Trapper Keeper” cocktail, made of Evan Williams 1783 bourbon and El Dorado 12-year-old rum, is created with lemon juice, muddled cucumber, habanero-infused honey, and soda. The summer cocktail is featured alongside seasonally-appropriate cocktails from other indy cocktail spots like State of Grace in Houston, TX and Super Six in Seattle, WA.
Stop by for a full line-up of drinks and bar bites at 106 1/2 South Wilmington Street, above Centro Mexican Restaurant, Mondays through Thursdays between 6 p.m. and midnight or Fridays and Saturdays between 6 p.m. and 2 a.m.
